Our story

About Kaia's

Kaia’s opened in a former ballroom on Velvet Lane with one idea: an evening shouldn’t need three addresses.

One room, three moods

We started with a chef who wanted a dining room that stayed awake, and a bar team who wanted a kitchen that never closed. What grew from that is a place where dinner service slides into a cocktail hour and then into a dance floor without anyone changing venue.

Everything is made in house — the pasta, the syrups, the infusions, the playlists. Our team of forty looks after around three hundred guests a night, and we still write the menu by hand every week.

The dining room

Velvet booths, low light and a kitchen that treats a Tuesday like a Saturday. Seasonal menus written weekly.

The bar

Sixty spirits deep, with a rotating list of house cocktails and bartenders who remember your order.

The floor

From 11pm the lights drop and the room turns. Resident DJs Thursday through Saturday.

Private events

Book the whole room

Birthdays, launches, wedding after-parties and corporate nights for 20 to 220 guests. Tell us the occasion and we’ll build the evening around it.
